Phase 1: Desk Study, comprising Phase 1a: Data Collation and Assessment; and Phase 1b: Desk Study;

Phase 2: Exploration Phase, comprising Phase 2a: Design and Permitting of Exploration Activities; Phase 2b: Exploration Activities and Data Assessment; and Phase 2c: Site Suitability Report;

Phase 3: Pre-commercial Phase, comprising Phase 3a: Detailed Design, Permitting and Engineering Activities; Phase 3b: Contractor Tendering and Orders; Phase 3c: Procurement, Construction and Commissioning Activities; Phase 3d: Start-up, Gasification and Shutdown/Venting Activities; and Phase3e: Post-burn Monitoring, Data Assessment and Reporting; and

Phase 4: Commercial Phase.

CCL offers competitive rates for these services and looks for a profit share for completing all phases and involvement in the ongoing syngas production.

Joint Ventures

We continue to seek joint ventures with coal owning companies, state owned enterprises and large energy companies. We also have expertise in raising funds for projects.

Own licence activities

In respect of our own licensed activities (eg our five UK offshore UCG licences) we will seek to invite participation from and collaboration with other UCG operators, energy companies, state enterprises and others to share the capital cost of these projects. CCL will usually act as operator.
