Rohan Courtney OBE, Chairman of Clean Coal Limited and in his capacity as Founding Director of UCG Partnership, chaired a tutorial on UCG and co-chaired three Sessions on UCG at the 25th Annual International Pittsburgh Coal Conference. Some 1500 delegates attended the conference.

At the end of the conference Mr Courtney was invited to join the Advisory Board of the Conference.

Later he travelled to Williamsburg to make a presentation on UCG to the delegates of the 2008 Coal Markets Strategies Conference organised by the American Coal Council.
